作为泛空间媒介的影像文化从其呈现介质上分析，现阶段似乎找到了具有东方色彩的前卫“屏”艺术语境，这次展览正是在国际大电子科技范畴之下，从欧洲录像艺术发展的时间系统、美国实验电影的学院状态及俄日韩实验影像艺术的当代性中来端倪一些与中国接壤的环亚洲区域影像现象的艺术边界与未知体验的文化可能。而此次展览空间引入潜意识行为方式对话单元部分的艺术家作品：通过设定空间体验的微妙环境将影像作品有机的连接在一起，组成观者可以介入的“空间媒介”系统。创作者可以感受到单元设定中的灵性秩序，一方面他们会依据大主题现创作作品，另一方面策展人会根据环境选择艺术家作品进行二次空间创作。
在这次整体的展览空间里，我们尝试用关键词文本单元来解析“同分异构”的内在影像气质，“分离”VS“失控”作为体现欧美日韩影像艺术家作品的主要标准，其实验性具有浓厚的地域特色；“万象”VS“盒境”这部分主要则集中了国内数码技术与传统文脉发生碰撞的佳作，更重要的是他们数字影像会呈现装置化空间化趋势；而在“未知”VS“流逝”中则展现了其他艺术形式如何与“泛影像媒介”联合创作的一些阶段性状态，如音乐 舞蹈 建筑 服装 产品等。

In its current stage, as it integrateshigh-technology "screens" into an artistic context,video art culture seems to have adoptedanEasternaesthetic. This exhibition draws on cutting-edgetechnology, along with the historyof European video art, American experimental films, and contemporary experimental video art in Russia, Japan and South Korea. The result is a stunningexploration ofnewcultural possibilities and artistic boundaries, pointing toward the next phase of video art in Asia. The exhibition space brings together masterpieces of video work, dialogues aboutthe role of the subconscious,and a fantastic experiential environment. Presenting video work in a way that feels truly organic,the exhibitioncreates a spacethat envelopes the audience. The artists in this exhibitionsense a kind of spiritual order as they navigate major cultural themes.
In the overall exhibition space, we have used section titlesto contextualizethe works and their images:"Isomer" and "Separate VSChaos" have been organized to reflectkey conceptsin video art in Europe,the U.S.,Japan and South Korea. Therefore, these artistic experimentsreveal strong geographical influences.One section of the exhibition,"VientianeVSBox Environment"is focused on workscreated fromcollisions between Chinesedigital technology and traditional culture. In "UnknownVSGone",the audience observes howmedia imagesinfluence other art forms, including music, dance,architecture, and fashion and product design.

影像，在今天逐渐成为最具时代性的艺术表达方式。无论理念、表达和传播，影像艺术从各个方面包围现代人的生活与思考空间，事实不断证明，似乎已经无需过多质疑影像艺术的流行性趋势。更为有价值的是，由于其对当代社会文化的适应和表达，影像艺术为艺术普及与公共教育的发展，提供了丰富的可能性，不失为艺术介入社会的有效手段。此次借由展览邀请来自英国、意大利、日本、荷兰、澳大利亚、越南、韩国等不同文化语境的艺术家，与中国一些具有国际经验的艺术家对话，为中国当下的影像实验提供更为广阔的国际化背景，使得中外影像艺术家之间针对“国际视野下的中国”和“中国视野下的国际”的交流更为多元和有趣。从学院到公共教育——我们希望将这个普遍的艺术创作演变路径建立为一个讨论的参照系，在对影像艺术的讨论中介绍不同国家的实践和突破其传统模式的新尝试。

Image has gradually become the most representative art expression way nowadays. No matter it is ideas, expression or transmission, the photo art surrounds the life and thinking space of the modern people from various aspects. It has been approved that there is no need doubting the popular trend of the photo art. What is more valuable is that for its adaptation and expression towards the modern social culture, the photo art provides rich possibilities for art popularity and development of public education and becomes the effective means that art intervenes in the society. In this exhibition, we invite artists from U.K., Italy, Japan, Holland, Australia, Vietnam and Korea, etc. in different cultural contexts to communicate with some Chinese artists with the international experience, so as to provide wider globalization background for current image experiments in China and make the communications among Chinese and foreign photo artists aiming at “China in the international view” and “world in the Chinese view” more diverse and interesting. From the academy to the public education – we hope to establish the ordinary art creation evolution route to be the reference system to discuss and introduce the practice of different countries and new trials to break through the traditional mode in the discussions on the photo art.
