这个项目是基于我在北京工作和生活了8年左右的基础上而创作的。

我已经在这里呆了很长时间，和当地有才华的艺术家一起工作并和当地的人们建立了友谊，但是如果我试图把这个时期还原成连贯有序的事实，这成为了不可能。

我试着去倾听、观察,不去评判，并且不轻易下结论。

我透过我的作品来传达，并以隐晦的、更微妙的方式来呈现：

有时我也许成功了，但是更多的时候，我发现了某些东西，然而后来意识到它并不是我想要的，它实际上是另外一种东西，是完全不同的事情。

对我而言，唯一的方法就是谈论中国，谈论北京，通过图片和它所关联的人们所关注的事实。但实际上这些人也和这个城市、这个国家一起，已经改变了并继续改变着。

《文艺机器》影像装置

一部由雕塑、木箱子和投影机组成的影像装置，共同展现来自山西阳高和陕西华阴的一些民间乐团和流浪艺人的表演。 每一个视频的声音只有走近画面才能完整地听到，因此在观众多的时候会造成类似农村赶集的嘈杂音效。 

Uneasy in the Mind- Video

This project is built up around my 8 years experience working and living in Beijing.

I've been here so long and had the chance to work together wit local artists and built ties and friendship with local people, but if I try to resume this period into a coherent sequence of facts, it becomes impossible.

I tried to listen, to observe, not to judge and not to be satisfied with common place things and easy conclusions.

I used my work to communicate and make invisible and more subtle patterns to appear:

sometimes I succeeded, maybe, but most of the time, I found something but then later I realized it was not what I thought it was and instead it was something else, something different.

This seems to me the only way to talk about China and Beijing, with images, linked together only by the fact that open person shoot all of them, but even that person has changed with this city, with this country, and keeps changing. 

Art Machine- Video Installation

A video installation composed of sculpturewooden box and projection showing folk bands and travelling singers and musicians performing in Yanggao (Shanxi) and Huayin (Shaanxi). Each performance'sound can be fully heard by walking closer to the relevant projection, thus creating a village fair noise effect when many viewers are inside the room.
