[北京]李然个展——圣维克多尔山

“圣维克多尔”是座落在法国南部的一座山。在艺术家保罗·塞尚的画室可以望见整座山，他一生为此山画过几十幅作品。李然个展取用这座山的名字作为展览题目，试图自我建造一条通往现代主义美学的通道，再次观看消沉于我们自身历史之中的经验碎片。艺术家自我编纂了四个剧目的陈述，分别为“反射的图景”、“凝视”、“竞技”、“偶遇”，并以模仿70、80年代中文译制片配音的方式进行现场表演。
 
基尔凯廓尔：“重复和重拾是相同的行为，只不过方向相反：重拾是向后的重复，而真正的重复是向前的重拾。”

Magician Space is pleased to announce that the opening of Li Ran solo exhibition MONT SAINTE-VICTOIRE will be held on Feb. 25th 2012 from 15:30, with live performance from artist 16:00 - 17:30

Mont Sainte-Victoire is a mountain located in the south of France, which artist Paul Cezanne could have a full view from his studio. During Cezanne's lifetime, he had painted dozens of paintings of this mountain. Li Ran borrows the mountain's name as the exhibition title, attempting to build his own access to the modernist aesthetics, whilst reviewing the fragmental experiences grounded in our own history. Li Ran compiled a four-act statement: The Reflecting Scenery, The Gaze, The Tournament and The Chance Encounter, where the artist will mimick the voices as in Chinese dubbed movies in the 1970s- 1980s live on the opening day.
