“OPEN 打开国际行为艺术节”是在中国的第一个也是规模最大的历史最长的一个非官方的民间国际行为艺术节，创始于2000年，设计为每年一届，旨在中国建立“自由的国际行为艺术平台”。艺术节秉承着独立、开放与表达自由的策展理念形成了较大规模的文化影响。成为国际行为艺术界知名的一个展演平台。2000年第一届“OPEN打开国际艺术节”由陈进、舒阳、朱冥共同策划。

Open行为艺术节已历经十三年，从非公开表演逐渐成长到可以公开表演，至今艺术节已经分别在中国北京、成都、西安、长春、上海等地成功举办了13届，参与涉及美、英、法、意、德、日、澳、加拿大、芬兰、希腊、爱尔兰、新加坡、斯洛伐克、丹麦、瑞典、墨西哥、波兰、等50多个不同国家以及大陆、香港、澳门、台湾地区的近500多位国际艺术家及作品实施。作为中国最重要的行为艺术节，受到世界当代艺术界的普遍关注。尤其是第十届Open是目前世界上参与艺术家最多，参与国家最多，时间最长，规模最大的一届国际行为艺术节。

Open国际行为艺术节的核心，是在国际学术文化交流的环境下进行新的艺术的探索与发展，艺术家之间进行艺术实验和碰撞，发现艺术新的可能性和新的思维方式。为中国当代艺术文化的发展与世界艺术的交流，起到了巨大的推动作用。

第十四届“OPEN打开国际艺术节”艺术总监陈进，邀请张海涛、付晓东作为本届艺术节的策展人，今年艺术节侧重研究行为艺术跨界的可能性，将于10月19-20日在798艺术区空间站举办，届时欢迎各界朋友来现场体验行为艺术将给我们带来的魅力。

The 14th OPEN international performance art festival
 
Open International Performance Art Festival is the non-profit ,non-government performance art festival when it started since 2000  curated by Chen Jin , Shu Yang, Zhu Ming when Chinese performance art just came into prosperity .The festival is held annually with its aim to establish “an freedom international communication platform of performance art”. With its curatorial concept of independence, openness, and the freedom of expression, becomes large scale culture influence and well known international performance platform.

The festival has been held thirteen times from the underground to the public respectively in Beijing, Cheng Du, Xi’an , Chang Chun , Shanghai, etc . participated with artists who are from USA,England,France,Italy,German,Japan,Australia,Canada,Finland,Greece,Ireland,Singarpore,Slovakla,Denmark,Sweden,Mexico,Poland of over fifty different countries and mainland ,Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan bring  together about 500 artists and their works all over the world.
 
It becomes to the most important festival in China, more and more attention by the contemporary art world, especially the 10th Open festival which has the artists and countries mostly and the largest scale and the longest and the biggest international performance art festival in the world.
 
The core of OPEN international performance art festival which is to communicate to the international academy culture of the new art of the development and exploration, is to art experimental  and impact between artists, is to discover new possibility of art and new way of thinking. It has caused major impellent to the development of Chinese contemporary art cultural and the communication of the art world.
 
The 14th OPEN international performance art festival ‘s director Chen Jin has invited Zhang Haitao and Fu Xiaodong as  curators for this year, it will focus on the possibility of the cross-border of performance art, will start from 19th-20th  October and 27th October  at SPACE STATION in 798 art zone . We are appreciate and welcome if you could have time to present with us.
