In March and August of 2016, curated by Mr. Alain Jullien, two photo exhibitions of Marc Riboud were held at North Bank Art Space and Luoyang Museum respectively. Time flies and today, on the first anniversery of Mr. Marc Riboud's death, we, the North Bank Art Space, specially invite Alain writing a short article and providing some photos of Cuba taken in 1963 and photos of Vietnam taken in 1968 to everyone, in memory of Marc Riboud.（Editor）

Marc Riboud was buried on September 2nd 2016. I asked all his children and grandchildren to pose for a picture that will show what Marc’s greatest achievement is: human beings. I believe Marc always put human beings above all, above pictures and above memories, they are the future, pictures are always the past. Pictures can illuminate the present, explain the past but children and grandchildren are the future. We should remember Marc as joy and laughter, serious about photography and human and always loving people. I like to remember Marc through his family together with his pictures. I am inclosing a lovely picture of his daughter Clemence that represents the love Marc Riboud has for human beings.(Alain Jullien)
