珠江流域自古就是人杰地灵人才辈出的地方，无论是经济、政治、文化还是艺术，在中国的历史长河中都是不可或缺的，更是举足轻重的。珠江是中国第二大河流也是境内第三长河流，流域覆盖滇、黔、桂、粤、赣等省区，惠及港澳地区及越南的东北部。珠江在长流，时代在更迭，当珠江流域进入20世纪80年代的时候，当代艺术特别是行为艺术首先从这里出发，一路北上，影响到了整个中国艺坛。行为艺术从拿来主义到内化阶段再到脱变时期，在珠江流域的行为艺术家或多或少都经历了这些阶段。现在，本着总结过去启迪未来的重任，由云南艺术家和丽斌、广西艺术家尹天石和深圳艺术家刘香林共同策划的“珠江计划——珠江流域行为艺术文献展（深圳）”即将拉开序幕。这次文献展是基于以上三位艺术家及此次参展艺术家在珠江流域举办的行为艺术节、行为艺术展、行为艺术工作坊和行为即兴剧场为依据进行整理和梳理的，其目的是想在珠江流域梳理出众多艺术家个人的艺术风格和艺术价值观，通过众多艺术家之间的互相学习、交流、促进和往来，拟在珠江流域建设一个健康且良性发展的行为艺术生态，并形成珠江流域自己的行为艺术观看方法、创作方法和艺术评论方法，为21世纪的珠江流域行为艺术生态以及中国行为建设贡献自己的力量。
